We are once again recruiting graduate students, this time for summer 2021, and I'm writing to ask if you could disseminate our advertisement again, which I've attached to this email.
 
As a reminder, our project is based in the Department of Psychological Sciences, and our aim is to develop a comprehensive software tool for simulation-based power analyses. We recruit paid graduate research assistants for either .5 or .25 time.

Graduate Research Assistant Positions in Department of Psychological Sciences

Advanced Quantitative Methods
 
Drs. Erin Hennes and Sean Lane in the Department of Psychological Sciences at Purdue University invite applications for 0.50 or 0.25 graduate research assistants interested in advanced applied quantitative methods. These positions are part of a five-year NIH-funded interdisciplinary project developing improved methods for statistical power analysis. More information about this project can be found here
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • Quantitative experience in generalized linear (mixed) models and/or structural equation models
  • Familiarity with R
  • Familiarity with statistical power
  • Familiarity with data simulation
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with applied statistics and/or working with social and behavioral scientists
  • Experience with software development
