URGENT POSTDOC POSITION OPENING
University of California, Santa Barbara
California NanoSystems Institute: Quantum Foundry
The National Science Foundation–supported UC Santa Barbara Quantum Foundry is seeking a talented collaborative postdoctoral fellow to help with data-driven initiatives in aiding the development of new quantum materials across a number of experimental, computational, and theoretical efforts within the Foundry.
Potential candidates are expected to have an interest in advancing materials discovery, as well as experienced in the application of big data and machine learning to engineering problems. Prior experience with materials discovery –– and potentially, DFT methods –– is desirable but not essential. They are expected to be collaborative, articulate, and interested in the collective success of this recently formed Foundry.
The UC Santa Barbara Quantum Foundry is deeply committed to supporting a diverse cohort of Quantum Scientists and Engineers and encourages and mentors researchers from all backgrounds to develop as scholars and professionals.
This position is open until filled and the Quantum Foundry is looking to fill the Data Science Postdoc opening as soon as possible.
Interested applicants should send their CV and contact information to qf-admin@cnsi.ucsb.edu.
Please contact qf-admin@cnsi.ucsb.edu with any additional questions.
