Caltech Young Investigator Lecture Series in EAS

Priority: No
College Calendar: Show
Caltech's Division of Engineering and Applied Science is pleased to once again host the "Young Investigators Lecture Series" which provides research exposure and networking opportunities for selected female and underrepresented minority (URM) PhD students, recent graduates, and postdoctoral scholars with our faculty and the Caltech community.

We are writing to invite you and your departmental colleagues to recommend the most promising candidates among postdoctoral scholars and those expected to obtain their Ph.D. in the next one to two years. Researchers in industry, who are within 3 years of receiving their PhD, are also encouraged to apply.

Applicants should apply online at: http://eas.caltech.edu/young_investigators and must ask their Ph.D. advisor to submit a letter of recommendation. The deadline for receipt of completed applications (including recommendation letter) is November 15, 2019. Travel and local expenses of invited candidates will be fully covered by the Caltech Division of Engineering and Applied Science.

If you have any questions about the lecture series, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. Applicants should direct their questions to yi-lecture@caltech.edu
