Alumni Recognition

Nominations are now open for the Young Engineering Alumnus Award and the College of Engineering Alumni Loyalty Award.

Honorary Doctorates

The honorary doctorate, granted by Purdue University, recognizes distinguished professional accomplishments.

Distinguished Alumni

Each year the faculty of the Schools of Engineering confers this award on approximately ten engineering alumni in recognition of outstanding achievements in professional and related fields of endeavor.

Service Awards

To recognize outstanding service to the Schools of Engineering, the Engineering Alumni Association sponsors the Service Award and the President's Lifetime Award.

The Service Award, given annually, commends exceptional service and loyalty to Purdue engineering, the university, the engineering profession, and the community. The President's Lifetime Award is a pinnacle award recognizing a lifetime of such contributions. The President's Lifetime Award will not be presented if a suitable candidate is not nominated. To be eligible for either award, the nominee must hold a degree from one of Purdue's engineering schools. Recipients must be present at the awards ceremony to receive the award.

Nominations are solicited from all engineering alumni as well as from the deans, heads, and faculty of the Schools of engineering.
