Food Supply Chain

CMM

In today's fast paced business environment, there are many fresh food companies and food processing factories having complex supply networks working towards efficiently distributing their products. Problems they face concern public health and living standards. To build an efficient supply chain network will improve both public conditions and companies’ profits. Apart from maximizing profit, there are several other objectives that needs to be addressed: environmental, social, global impacts etc., that need to be included in the decision making process considering our current global food market scenario. Our research cluster aims at developing better strategies and decision support tools to manage these conflicting objectives in the various types of food supply chains ensuring sustainability and profitability.
