March 18, 2014
Haoran Yang, a PhD student from Dr. Wu’s laboratory, recently was accepted into The Nature Conservancy’s NatureNet Science Fellows Program. Yang will begin his fellowship this summer with Dr. Chris Murray at the University of Pennsylvania.
The NatureNet Science Fellows Program focuses on topics such as green infrastructure, sustainable agriculture and fisheries, natural defenses against extreme weather, and encouraging sustainable energy forms and corporate practices.
Yang’s work in thermoelectric energy conservation with special attention to seeking out abundant non-toxic materials fits well with the programs aims.
Congratulations to Haoran Yang for earning this prestigious fellowship!
