Dr. Zhou is an alumnus of the CYNICS group and currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Argonne National Laboratory. Her PhD focused on building optimization Workflow for Hybrid Energy Systems using the HERON open source software, which has been recently awarded the INL 2020 open source software award. HERON is a RAVEN plugin for grid and capacity optimization and technoeconomic analysis. Her paper in Energies also summarizes some of the key features using HERON and RAVEN.
