of Mechanical Engineering 585 Purdue Mall Purdue University West Lafayette, IN 47907-2088 Collier received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2012. His undergraduate and post-baccalaureate research, under Dr. Carlos Hidrovo, focused on optimization of heat pipe wicking geometries for thermal management and thermal storage batteries for climate control in electric vehicles. In 2013, he started at Purdue under Dr. Amy Marconnet, obtaining his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2015. His current research focusses on improving metrology techniques for high-temperature characterization of thermoelectric material to be used for waste heat recovery, and evaluation of enhanced phase-change materials. |
