IEEE Computer Society President and Board of Governors
CRISP Director, Saurabh Bagchi, attended the IEEE Computer Society Board of Governors meeting in Phoenix, Arizona Nov 12-14, 2017. Saurabh is serving a 3 year term as an elected Board member.
The meeting decided on policies for the IEEE Computer Society, including on journal and conference vitality. Saurabh is leading the effort for the IEEE Computer Society global student challenge competition. The competition will run Mar-May 2018 and the winners will be felicitated at the Board meeting and annual gala in June, 2018.
