Background

Dr. Mohanta has extensive background in Ultra-fast Optical Spectroscopy of semiconductors, Exciton dynamics, Time-resolved photoluminescence, Growth and characterization of Semiconductor materials, Laser-matter interactions, Laser produced plasma, Cluster formation and their detection by photoluminescence and Rayleigh scattering. Before joining Purdue University, he was working at U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Research, Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC), Redstone Arsenal, AL, USA, and the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, USA.
