Brandon Bukowski Receives Engineering Faculty Lectureship Seminar Award

(May 3, 2019) – CISTAR congratulates Brandon Bukowski, CISTAR Graduate Fellow at Purdue University, as he has received the Davidson School of Chemical Engineering Faculty Lectureship award. The award is meant to reward scholarly research and publication by a Purdue Chemical Engineering graduate student. The winner is selected by the Graduate Student Awards Selection Committee based on a broad evaluation of scholarship and potential.
Bukowski was nominated for the award by his advisor, Dr. Jeffery Greely. In addition to a certificate and a $500 monetary award, Bukowski was invited to present a thirty-minute lecture on his research, “Ab-initio simulations of condensed water structures in microporous solid acids and their role in heterogeneous catalysis” to the faculty and graduate student body during the research seminar series.
