Eckhard Groll awarded ASHRAE's Exceptional Service Award

Eckhard Groll has been awarded the Exceptional Service Award upon recommendation of the Honors and Awards Committee of the ASHRAE Members Council.  This award recognizes ASHRAE members who have served the Society with exemplary effort, far in excess of that required for the Distinguished Service Award.  The award consists of a plaque and lapel pin.

Presentation took place at the Society's Annual Conference in Seattle, Washington, during the Plenary Session on June 28, 2014.

Qingyan Chen receives IBPSA Distinguished Service Award
Professor Qingyan Chen received the Award for Distinguished Service to Building Simulation from the International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA). This award recognizes an individual who has a distinguished record of contributions to the field of building performance simulation, over a long period. IBPSA selects only one individual every two years for the prestigious award. The award was presented to Professor Chen on August 27, 2013 during IBPSA’s 13th Building Simulation conference in Chambery, France.

Jim Braun becomes IBPSA Fellow
Professor Jim Braun was named a Fellow to the International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA). This award recognizes his many contributions to the field of building performance simulation, over a long period. The award was made on August 27, 2013 during IBPSA’s 13th Building Simulation conference in Chambery, France.
