Why did you choose to study CEM at Purdue?
The construction industry is fascinating to me because it is always changing and there is constantly a great desire for skilled engineers to innovate design.
What are the biggest advantages to being a student in CEM at Purdue?
The resources available to me as a CEM student are incredible. There are many wonderful labs, equipment, and faculty who are excited to teach students and enhance our knowledge of the industry.
What have been some of your favorite Purdue experiences?
My favorite experience about being at Purdue is meeting all of the wonderful people in my engineering classes. All of the students that surround me are incredibly talented and make me proud to be in class with them.
What are your career goals?
My goal after graduation is to be a project engineer involved with large scale, complex construction projects. I like to have responsibilities, lead teams, and solve difficult problems.
How does it feel to be awarded a scholarship?
I am honored to be the recipient of two individual scholarships, and I greatly appreciate the organizations that recognize my skills and desire to be successful in the construction industry.
