Barton Malow

Overview

Founded in 1924, Barton Malow was solely a general contractor for about fifty years. Then, in the 1970s and 1980s, we broadened our services to include construction management with full preconstruction capability, in-house design, design/build, program management, technology design and implementation, concrete, interiors, and rigging. Always focused on community well-being, we are now among the nation's largest builders of hospitals, public schools, universities, corporate/industrial facilities, power plants, and sports venues. Our signature projects include the Soldier Field renovation in Chicago and current work at the University of Michigan Mott Children?s Hospital, one of the largest health projects in the country. A full-service builder and the tenth-largest construction manager in the United States (Building Design & Construction Magazine, July 2006), Barton Malow is focused on providing personalized attention to clients, whether directing a billion-dollar contract or small tenant renovations. With such broadly diversified projects and services, we can customize a career path based on your unique interests and goals. Headquartered in Southfield, MI, just outside Detroit, Barton Malow has additional offices in ten cities across the United States, with a full-time staff of 1,200.
