Purdue's Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Student Chapter has completed another successful year. They recently won the award for the Best Student Chapter Report in the Great Lakes District and are currently in the running for the ITE International level award for the Best Student Chapter.

In June 2016, the team won the Great Lakes District Traffic Bowl and advanced to the Grand Championship in Anaheim, California. The Purdue ITE chapter continued their winning streak and was crowned the 2016 Traffic Bowl Grand Champions. However, the winning didn’t stop there. Purdue won the 2017 District ITE Collegiate Traffic Bowl this past April and will defend their Grand Championship title this summer in Toronto.

Purdue is hosting the 2017 ITE Student Leadership Summit in September. The summit is planned by students, for students. The purpose of the Summit is to prepare students to make an impact in the transportation industry, develop professional and leadership skills, and promote networking between future and current transportation professionals.
