Greetings All,
The Civil Engineering Graduate Program and the Civil Engineering Graduate Student Advisory Committee (CEGSAC) are excited to announce the Emerging Leaders Lecture for Spring 2020 semester. This year's emerging leader is Dr. Devin Huber (PhD Purdue Civil Eng. 2008). His lecture is titled "Hooray, I got a fancy engineering degree…now what?"
When: 12:30 pm - 1:20 pm, February 14, 2020
Where: HAMP 3153
The presentation is about trying to find a role for yourself in the real world once you have your college degree. Dr. Huber will talk about some of the key lessons learned along the way in his career and will attempt to offer tangible advice for getting a career started to those pursuing advanced degrees. He will present and discuss his somewhat non-linear career path and how it has come full circle for him. Please join us!
Sandwiches and soft drinks will be provided for those who register - from 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm in HAMP 3153. A reception will follow the lecture in Wood Commons from 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm where light refreshments will be served. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
