Dear Graduate Students,

We are getting close to the finals week, and this is the time to chill out and relieve your stress with an extraordinary Yoga session. The event is on Friday, April 27th at 4:55 p.m. at 270 S Russell St, West Lafayette, IN 47907.

All costs associated with the event is taken care of by CEGSAC. The cost for the class is $10/person, with the class being limited to 40 people. This is for the safety of the goats, as well as to make sure that we are not overcrowded in the class.

You can bring your beloved ones and children (up to three individuals including yourself.) The president of Heifer International at Purdue, the organization that holds the session, wanted us to make sure that the children understand the importance of being gentle with the animals, and not causing them any stress.

The agenda will be as follows:
  • There will be a short 5-minute presentation on what the national organization, Heifer International, is all about, and the goal of the Yoga session.
  • The Yoga instructor will then move into a very basic Yoga class for approximately 45 minutes, where the baby goats will be allowed to run around the people in the class.
  • The last 15 minutes of the class will consist of everyone getting to play with the baby goats, as well as ask the president or a club member any questions that you may have.

Please note that the number of people is restricted; therefore, please make sure you sign up (HERE), only and only if you are sure that you can make it. The survey will automatically be closed when it hits the limit. You will be responsible to get to the venue at the Purina Pavilion located inside the Land O' Lakes Center.
