JTRP Hosts Indiana Leaders for Research Update

JTRP, Purdue, INDOT, and Lt. Governor Chief of Staff

On November 19, 2014, JTRP hosted a joint meeting with Tonya Brothers-Bridge, Lt. Governor Chief of Staff, Steve Abel, Purdue University Associate Vice President for Engagement, INDOT Commissioner Karl Browning and INDOT Deputy Commissioner Jay Wasson.

This meeting recognized the collaborative research efforts of INDOT, JTRP and Purdue University faculty. Professor Bullock provided research highlights from the 2013-2014 Indiana Mobility Report and the implementation of DamageWise throughout the state. Professor Mark Bowman led the group on a tour of the Bowen Lab. Professor Robert Connor presented recent research activities related to bridge inspection at the S-BRITE center, and Professor Jason Weiss and his students demonstrated their mobile concrete testing laboratory.
