Congratulations to Prof. Satish Ukkusuri for advising his most recent Ph.D. student to being honored with the INFORMS Transportation Science & Logistics Best Dissertation Award for 2009. This is the oldest and most prestigious honor for doctoral dissertations in the transportation science and logistics area, with a worldwide competitive pool. Previous winners have become exceptional researchers and leaders of the transportation science community. The award was given at the INFORMS conference in San Diego.
