Congratulations to Prof. Kumares Sinha, recipient of the Transportation Research Board's 2009 Roy W. Crum Award.  This award recognizes outstanding achievement in transportation research and research management and is the highest honor bestowed by the TRB.  This award will be presented to Prof. Sinha during the Chairman's Luncheon at the Annual TRB Meeting on January 13, 2010.

The Crum Award is not only the TRB's highest honor, but also is the oldest award.  There have been only five recipients from Purdue throughout the history of the award (K. B. Woods, 1949; Bill Goetz, 1961; Harold Michael, 1978; Eldon Yoder, 1982; Kumares Sinha, 2009).
