Jan Olek, Professor of Civil Engineering, has been selected to receive the ACI Foundation - Concrete Research Council - Robert E. Philleo Award.

This honor is being bestowed specifically for Prof. Olek's life-long contributions to advancements in concrete materials science and translating research findings into concrete infrastructure applications, as well as for training and mentoring generations of concrete researchers and scientists.

The award will be presented at the 2016 ACI Concrete Convention and Exposition this October in Philadelphia.
