Greg Miller elected AGCI President

CE Alumnus Greg Miller, President of Diamond Construction Company located in Quincy, was elected as President of the Associated General Contractors of Illinois at the 107th AGCI Annual Convention held in Springfield. Miller served last year as the First Vice President and previously as the Second Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer.

Miller served last year as the First Vice President and previously as the Second Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer.
 
He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Illinois and is a graduate of Purdue University’s School of Civil Engineering.
 
The AGCI is a statewide highway/heavy and utility construction association headquartered in Springfield, Illinois. The membership includes over 160 general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
 
Some of the many services members receive include lobbying the Illinois General Assembly and the U.S. Congress, working with the Illinois Department of Transportation and other state agencies on construction-related issues, labor relations, networking events, and education and training. The AGCI has also given out over $300,000 in educational scholarships to deserving students entering the highway construction field. AGCI is affiliated with the Associated General Contractors of America headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia.
