Seven alumni receive CEAAA

The School of Civil Engineering honored seven outstanding graduates with the Civil Engineering Alumni Achievement Award in a ceremony held on February 15, 2007.

The 2006/2007 CEAAA recipients are: (back row) Jane E. Gallagher, MSCE 1981, Health Research Scientist, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency; Jude D. Rake, BSCE 1981, President/COO, Fellowes, Inc.; and John F.W. Koch, BSCE 1950, President, John F.W. Koch & Associates, Inc. (front row) Dennis J. Drag, BSCE 1966, Associate Vice President, Moffatt & Nichols Engineers; Joan M. Miller, BSCE 1979, Senior Vice President, CH2M HILL;  Dan R. Stoppenhagen, BSCE 1985, Director of Transportation & Infrastructure, Fluor Corporation; and Jim E. Fletcher, BSCE 1967, MSCE 1968, Senior Consultant, Parametrix Consulting.

Since 1993 the School of Civil Engineering has had the opportunity to recognize the career accomplishments of some of our most influential graduates with the Civil Engineering Alumni Achievement Awards. The banquet was held February 15, 2007 at the Purdue Memorial Union in the North ballroom with over 120 in attendance. Special speakers included Provost Sally Frost Mason, Associate Dean Klod Kokini and Professor Kathy Banks, Head for the School of Civil Engineering.
