NanoNeurotechnology Lab – Krishna Jayant

The NanoNeurotechnology Lab’s research is focused on a) inventing paradigm-shifting electrical and optical neurotechnologies that can map circuit dynamics in awake, behaving mice with unparalleled precision and b) unraveling the circuit mechanisms and features that underlie energy-efficient sensorimotor computations.

We aim to make groundbreaking discoveries in brain function, unravel novel algorithms underlying neural computation and pinpoint potential therapeutic targets for even the most intractable diseases. The lab is interested in developing cutting-edge CMOS circuits and novel neurotechnologies that make previously infeasible measurements in the life sciences a reality.
