Weldon Biomedical Engineering students recently took part in a unique Maymester study abroad in France that focused on medical imaging advancements. The program offered a great chance to engage with some of Europe’s top research institutions and explore French culture.

“I would highly recommend a co-op, as you get to explore career options that can better focus the rest of your education," said Nicole Nagel, a BME student at the Weldon School.

The leading university programs on defibrillation was at Baylor University--led by Leslie A. Geddes and his team Willis A. Tacker, Joe D. Bourland and graduate student Charles Babbs, MD.
