Project: Technology Development for High-throughput Protein Biochemistry

Protein engineering techniques are used to develop novel protein tagging technologies for in vitro and in vivo assay development. Goals are to develop high-throughput techniques that can be used to study quantitative protein function and spatial temporal patterning.

Recruitment Needs:

Looking for 1 to 2 new PhD students with engineering training and experience in molecular biology, chemical biology, chemical synthesis, or bioprocess development. Previous experience with protein engineering, bioconjugation, surface modification, protein microarrays, protein biochemistry, or cell culture is highly desired.
