Purdue and Indiana Universities Join Forces: The Indiana Innovation Alliance

Purdue President France Córdova and Indiana University President Michael McRobbie have brought these typically rival universities together for a common purpose: The Indiana Innovation Alliance. The Indiana Innovation Alliance is a groundbreaking, institution-wide bioscience partnership between Purdue and Indiana universities.

The leaders claim the alliance, focusing on Indiana's life science industries, would strengthen the state economy by creating jobs and bringing improved or new technologies into industry. Together, the Universities are asking asking for $70 million in state funding over two years to jump-start the alliance.
