Ji-Xin Cheng's New Book
Ji-Xin Cheng, a professor in the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering, was primary editor of the new book "Coherent Raman Scattering Microscopy," published by the CRC Press. This is the first book on CRS Microscopy.

He is a pioneer in the development and biomedical application of molecular vibration-based imaging tools. The book includes contributions from a team of experts and describes how Coherent Raman Scattering Microscopy can be used to determine a detailed chemical map of live cells and tissues. The text provides technical aspects of Coherent Raman Scattering Microscopy, including microscope construction, detection schemes and data analyses. The book concludes with a listing of applications demonstrating how the tool has become a valuable tool in biomedicine. The book may be purchased at CRC Press.
