2013 SURF Research Symposium TODAY (July 31)

Undergraduates from engineering, science, and agriculture disciplines will present their summer research at the 2013 SURF Research Symposium. The Symposium will be held in the Neil Armstrong Hall of Engineering, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Purdue community and general public are invited to attend. Chang Kim Researching Conversion of Blood Cells into Autoimmune Disease Treatment

Cells from one's own blood could be converted into a treatment for autoimmune diseases, like rheumatoid arthritis and Crohn's disease, based on the discovery of a Purdue University researcher, Dr. Chang Kim, a professor of biomedical engineering and comparative pathobiology.
