Janice McKenzie was selected as a finalist for the Chorafas Prize, which was awarded at an ice cream social/reception hosted by the Engineering Office for Research and Entrepreneurship. There were 10 finalists selected from the College of Engineering, with Janice being the only BME representative.
The Chorafas Foundation sponsors the prize, which is given to the "Best Doctoral Student" at only eleven universities nationwide.
