Purdue Gala Event Showcases BME Student Team

At a recent black-tie event in Indianapolis, attended by 300 Purdue friends, donors and alums, a recently formed EPICS team was showcased.

EPICS (Engineering Projects in Community Service) is a program developed at Purdue that connects engineering students with community service organizations to find solutions to problems encountered by the agencies. The team showcased at the gala event involves biomedical engineering students who are partnering this fall with doctors at St. Vincent Pediatric Rehabilitation Center to design technology to help patients.
