Professor Tom Webster of Biomedical Engineering and fellow researchers A.M. Friedman (Biological Sciences), C.M. Weaver (Foods and Nutrition), J.C. Fleet (Foods and Nutrition) and R.V. Weatherman (Medicinal Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology) have received funding from the Showalter Trust for their research on "Development of Intelligent, Nanotechnology-Based Materials for the Prevention and Treatment of Osteoporotic Bone."
