Professor Edward J. Delp Receives Nokia Fellowship

Professor Edward J. Delp has received the 2002 Nokia Fellowship. The Fellowship was created by the
Fulbright Center and Nokia Foundation as a scholarship program designed to bring American scholars
to lecture at Finnish universities in electronics, information and telecommunications technologies.



Nokia is the world's leading mobile phone supplier and a leading supplier of mobile and fixed telecom
networks including related customer services. Nokia also supplies solutions and products for fixed and
wireless datacom, as well as multimedia terminals and computer monitors. During his tenure as a Nokia
Fellow, Professor Delp will travel to Nokia in Finland and visit their laboratories.
