January 2012 ABe-Notes

Welcome back! Since today is the first day of the new semester, the ABe-Notes is publishing early. There are a number of deadlines pending - make sure you haven't missed anything! There is a box outside the main office (219) for donations to Boilers Care and Share. This box will be removed some time on Wednesday, January 12, so please get your personal care items in!

ASM Club tours ADM Facilities

Thanks to the work of ASM Club president, Evan Guckien and ADM, 45 ASM Club students toured two of the ADM gulf facilities near New Orleans, LA over the winter break.  They left at midnight on January 4th and arrived back on campus ABE at 4 am on the 7th.  ADM paid all of the bus and hotel expenses, along with some of the food expense.  They toured the Destrehan and shipyard facilities and met several ADM representatives.  The ASM Club would like to send Evan and ADM many thanks!
