The trip was sponsored in part by Nelson Irrigation Corp and included a two-day training at Walla Walla Community College and plant tour of Nelson Corp.  Bart Nelson (Owner of Nelson Irrigation Crop) is a College of Agriculture Outstanding Alumnus, a Distinguished Alumnus of Purdue University, and the sponsor of numerous ABE scholarships and the IRRICAD software. The software will be used in ABE 49500 this spring and ABE 32500 next fall.  Crop production worldwide under Nelson Sprinklers exceeds $5B annually.
