ABE Graduate Symposium - Save the date!

ABE's inaugural departmental graduate symposium will be held Thursday, March 6th, 2014. The main objective of this symposium will be to promote networking and career opportunities for students with a diverse group of professionals. It will also provide an opportunity for students to present their research, interact with experts in various fields, and allow direct feedback in improving oral communication skills.

The symposium will include research roundtable presentations, industry panels, a plenary speaker and lunch, a poster session, and evening banquet and keynote speaker.  Research roundtables will consist of four ten minute student presentations in four independent sessions focusing on the following ABE core research areas: 1) Environmental and Natural Resources, 2) Biological / Food Process Engineering, 3) Machine Systems / Fluid Power, and 4) Bio-Energy.
