Atwood shares experiences in AAE Special Seminar Series

Atwood spoke about different programs, including the Catastrophic Failure Prevention Program and the Pistol Aviation Fuel Initiative, and 2017 and 2018 activities as well as research challenges for the alternative fuels for general aviation and future research areas. After a 40-minute presentation, Atwood took questions from the group.  

Atwood has worked at the FAA since 2001. He manages and leads aviation fuel and energy systems research and evaluation and supervises a team of individuals performing applied researching covering diverse areas of aviation propulsion systems.
