PhD student Arnab Ganguly has been awarded the 2012 Baxter Young Investigator Award.

PhD student Arnab Ganguly has been awarded the 2012 Baxter Young Investigator Award. The Baxter Young Investigator Award is an annual award program for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in the US. Baxter's Investigator Awards are intended to stimulate and reward research applicable to the development of therapies and critical care areas that save and sustain patients' lives.

Arnab is a third year PhD student in the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics. His faculty advisor is Dr. Alina Alexeenko and he is focusing on understanding key heat transfer mechanisms and control of low-pressure vapor and ice dynamics, applied to freeze-drying of biologicals and pharmaceuticals.
