High Performance Computing Cluster for Aerospace Applications

The High Performance Computing Cluster for Aerospace Applications consists of a 104-CPU Beowulf Linux cluster using 1.2 GHz AMD Athalon microprocessors allowing distributed and parallel processing. The machine was purchased with the help of a grant from the Army Research Office (ARO) through the Defense University Research Instrumentation Program (DURIP). It is primarily used by the students of Professors Heister, Blaisdell, Lyrintzis and Crossley.
