Graduate Program

The Purdue University School of Aeronautics and Astronautics is among the top aerospace engineering programs in the nation and is currently tied for 4th in the last US News and World Report rankings of aerospace graduate programs. During Fall 2008, we had a total of 337 students with 105 in the PhD program. 63% of our graduate students are US citizens. During the 2008-2009 academic year, the School graduated 54 MS and 18 PhD students. We have had many distinguished alumni pass through our doors. The School began offering non-thesis MS AAE degrees in the fall of 2006 to off-campus students via Purdue's Engineering Professional Education Program; see AAE's Distance Graduate Education Program for more information.
