The School of Aeronautics and Astronautics has a wide range of resources for design/build/test activities. The software resources include the latest engineering design and analysis packages enabling the completion of a design and the manufacturing of that design in a reasonable time period. To facilitate quick production of designs a wide range of CNC mills and a CNC lathe are available for student projects. Students also have access to a traditional metal working shop with mills and lathes, a composite fabrication laboratory, and a wood shop.
