High Performance Divert and Attitude Control System (DACS)
The TRW-built propulsion system for the Lockheed/Army Exoatmospheric
Reentry Vehicle Interceptor Subsystem (ERIS) provided both bipropellant
divert thrust for vehicle steering and high- and low-level impulse for
attitude control to enable the intercept of a high speed reentry vehicle
in space.
