The goal of this project is to design and build a 3-D functional model of a V8, supercharged combustion engine. This product is an easy-to-assemble kit aimed for educational purposes in schools and labs to encourage interest in STEM, particularly dynamic mechanical systems. The major components comprising this model are as follows: the engine block, crankshaft, pistons and piston rods, DC motor, supercharger gear and casing, and a pulley belt with mating pulley flanges.
