Basic RC race tracks are simple and struggle to continuously cause excitement. Deviation from the norm of a set track is what made Hot Wheels the successful toy line it is. The Stig Racer is designed to demonstrate the driving skills of the player behind the remote and their course design creativity. The play begins with no rules as a course made of household items is created. Children compete by racing through this course, but when the RC car hits any object, the Stig is launched from the driver seat and the power to the car is cut off and the racer cannot continue until the racer has been put back in place. The game can have any number of participants, in which the fastest is the winner.
