Multi-phase Flow & Research Laboratory

  School of Nuclear Engineering

 About MFCRL.....

Multiphase and Fuel Cell Laboratory (MFCRL) was established in 1997. Initial activities started on  two phase flow  parameters study with a kind support  from Dr. Jin-Ho Song of KAERI, South Korea. Since that humble beginning the research activity has grown steadily. Since last five years, new areas of research including packed bed multiphase flow, fuel cell and hydrogen research have been started. Both experimental and analytical work including  code modeling and  numerical CFD research work is carried out. The MFCRL hosts several undergraduate students, graduate students, post-doctoral researchers and visiting scientist/professors.  Of course the MFCRL team is the life line of the laboratory.
