Welcome to the Biomedical Analytics and Systems Optimization (BASO) Research Lab
The interdisciplinary research conducted in our lab is at the interface between engineering (particularly computational and systems engineering) and biomedicine (in the broad sense, including clinical practice, public health, and care delivery). The research lab is led by Dr. Nan Kong, Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering. The lab members are from various disciplines such as biomedical engineering, industrial engineering, chemical engineering, computer science, mathematics and statistics. We are always excited about developing highly innovative highly impactful research projects. We are also committed to supporting undergraduate students (especially those from under-represented minority groups) to gain exposure to the research.
